A day in the life…

Posted in of interest by millerlibrarian on July 29, 2009

What a great way to get me back into the groove of blogging.  So here goes my attempt at participating in Bobbie Newman’s 2nd Annual Library Day in the Life Project.

Prep for training session.

9 am Training with Hope from Learning Times for upcoming conference The Handheld Librarian.

10 am meeting the the InfoQuest Evaluation sub-committee.

11-1 Worked on IPL tasks – ref service, student feedback, rosters, email, IPL Learning Community

1-2:30 Met with Supervisor Dr. Lorri Mon for a working meeting (via telephone).

2:30 – 6:00 Back to work on IPL tasks – getting info ready for Fall classes; getting info ready for Fall interns; working on comment form/site suggestions

6:00 – 8:00 Covered InfoQuest ref staff.

8:00 – ?  IPL tasks – looking into setting up a podcast; getting more familiar with TalkShoe; prepping for Manager’s meeting in the am.

And that’s my day…(interspersed with grabbing time with my family 🙂 )
